Sports Specific Training
Are we all about sports-specific training? Nope.
Do: allow your child to participate in multiple sports. There is no need to be a single sport athlete for MANY years to come, if ever. There are going to be some things to focus on a LITTLE bit more to be ready to play, but you want to be learning skills that will grow with you forever.
Don’t: seek out something that is only for one sport. Needing to keep your training in a single dimension is not only flirting with being unsafe, but it will inhibit overall physiological benefits.
Move well. Play often. Have fun!
